Kareena was born to Sindhi-speaking Babita (nee Shivdasani) and Punjabi-speaking Randhir Kapoor in Bombay, India. She has an elder sister, Karisma. Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor says she identifies with Limca's new slogan as its brand ambassador because it inspires youngsters to strive for more.

The new ad's tagline is "Pyaas Badhao" and the first instalment of the campaign is already out.

"The brands I represent are an extension of my personality. The sensibility of Limca as a brand is something that has resonated very strongly with me. It inspires the youth to always strive for more and that is an attribute that I have always identified with," Kareena told in an interview.

Describing her association with the brand as "fantastic", she said she is excited about promoting the second leg of "Pyaas Badhao" campaign.

"It's fun, heartening and has a strong connect with youth," she added.
